Current Context

Retaining the current provider can benefit clients and participants financially and with enhanced service. Upon completing a due diligence review, a plan sponsor may discover it is easier and cheaper to upgrade plan and participant outcomes by staying with the current provider. There is a cost associated with switching providers. EACH Enterprise is embarking on an initiative to help client firms show benefit-cost models to potential defectors and encourage plans to retain YOU as their provider.

Tax reform, technological innovation, increased intervention by state and city governments are impacting the retirement plans business in multiple ways. Changes are upsetting service models of providers and distributors alike. The digital client experience evolves with increased reliance on artificial intelligence and automated assistants. Committee / client decision making practices are changing at an unprecedented pace. Business requirements can only be met if product innovations are rolled out effectively. Client Relationship Managers are under pressure to roll with the punches.

For a robust dialogue on the emerging retirement plan service landscape, don’t miss out on the semi-annual meeting of the Client Relationship Management Roundtable. All major retirement plan recordkeepers attend the Client Relationship Management regularly. Insights will be broken up based on your interests (hot topics), and by asset-size, providing focused, relevant dialogue on how to thrive and differentiate amid the changes.
