Current Context
The chief concern of marketing in the retirement and investment business today is client experience and engagement. Face time and client experience drive share of mind, sales success, value, and revenue – gross and net. Technological innovation changes the meaning of face time, and clients pressed for time demand convenience pre-sale, in the sales process, and post-sale. The 2019 Annual Meeting of the Roundtable will mix conversations about day-to-day challenges of exceeding plan sponsor, advisor, and consultant expectations, and the collaborative formulation of an outlook to support strategies that will sustain your brand for years.
Themes / Topics
- Disruptors – Artificial Intelligence, Automated Assistants, and Robotics and their impact on client experience
- Cultural shifts – Shared Economy and Co-working in retirement investing (MEPs, Association Plans, and other forms of collaboration)
- Generational turnover – ESG Investing, Financial Wellness, Well Being
- Big Data and technology – API data exchanges between payroll service providers, HCM suites, and retirement plan service providers
- Power of few words and a path – The moving frontier between blunt and polite
- Engaging content production – Video, animation, personalized, interactive
Join us in a roundtable dialog and participate in discussions with marketing professionals from the full vertical of the retirement plans industry, from recordkeepers to advisory firms, investment managers, and communication and education providers. The sharing of experiences and positions allows everyone to collaborate on an outlook for the business and for the marketing function.
Meeting Objective
The Roundtable is a rare opportunity for Marketing leaders of our industry to exchange ideas on current concerns, challenges, solutions, and priorities. At this Roundtable, you will hear what is changing in the marketplace, examine and compare customer experience at other firms, find out how they might dovetail with initiatives at other firms in the vertical, and air new strategies. The meeting is designed to give Heads of Marketing better control when targeting audiences, steering sales, and delivering impactful, quality communications that favorably display product and service offerings..
