Current Context

Not only is change constant but these days, change is fast. The lines are blurring between financial and physical wellness, saving behavior is influenced by student loan debt, there is more and more competition for the deferred dollar (HSAs, 401(k)). The increasingly commonplace, everyday usage of mobile devices constantly raises the bar on participant expectations for virtual 24/7 access to information and programs. Adding to that heady brew of competing goals, objectives and priorities is the increasing number of Americans reaching retirement age each year and the focus and value of a competitive and effective participant experience becomes paramount.

In addition to the formal sessions we have scheduled, you will have time to catch up with your industry peers to connect and network. Attendees will receive a summary of ideas and model practices for their own internal company use after the meeting.

Meeting Objective

Forum for heads of retirement plan participant strategy teams to discuss current developments and emerging issues impacting retirement readiness.

  • Impact of ever-evolving technology on participant programs and participant receptiveness to those programs
  • Tricky financial situations such as student loan debt, generational approaches to saving and investment, decumulation approaches
  • Effective ways to engage participants across segments in a targeted manner (generations, diversity, technology acceptances and adoption) and through the most effective approaches
  • Enhanced financial sustainability of our firms
  • Enhanced effectiveness of the national retirement system

Informal discussions based on topics from previously hosted forums and suggested topics from the registration process are included. Meeting participants can expect to come away with a better understanding of

  • Strategies to drive participant outcomes through the marriage of technology and human counseling
  • The future state of HSAs and retirement accounts
  • The role of technology in participant strategy today and in the future
  • How to segment the participant population in workforce entry, accumulating, pre-, at-, and post- retirement

Hot topics discussed will be decided with your input and that of other registered attendees in the two weeks immediately preceding the Roundtable meeting.

  • By hot topic (Financial wellness sustainability and participant experience management across generations)
